Camping at Meachum Lake

Soon after Ron's birthday, we took a celebratory camping trip to Meachum Lake. Ron camped there quite a bit as a kid. There is a developed campground, with swimming, a playground, showers, etc. We opted for a walk-in site on the other side of the lake - still access to the ammenities, but our own private lakefront site with no RV's around.

We took the kayak and took turns paddling around. Isaac and Elyse went swimming, even though it was cloudy and misty. We watched a dragonfly emerge and spread it's wings, eventually getting warm enough to fly off. Isaac finally slept in a sleeping bag, not a portable crib!
