Art de Elyse

The people have to go everywhere, including the bathtub - she lined them up like this herself...

Playing with stickers means that Piglet finds himself holding on against the pull of gravity, underneath the ottoman- don't let go....
Hee hee, they are just about as artsy as some of the pics Dar posts, don't you think? :)

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend, dinner with our group of friends, and the rest of the weekend spent close to home. We both managed to squeeze in quite a bit of school work and Elyse cooperated while I ran errands all over town one morning, with the promise of pizza at the last stop. I really enjoyed having 4 days to spend with my girl, as she is constantly up to something new that just makes us laugh!

We did make it to Delta a few weekends ago, and did get outside for a short ski. Elyse did not like riding in the sled on the trails, as it was uneven and she swayed from side to side. Sledding went much better in our plowed driveway, at least for her. We are in to the dark time of year, so we are trying to make a point of getting a few minutes outside when the sun IS shining (and it is above 0) to ward off complete narcolepsy. Ron and Elyse have activities every day that they are home together between swimming and play group at the gym, so they are staying pretty busy right now (there are only 7 swim lessons, so it is short term).

We had a baby dr's appointment this week, and everything looks good. 29 weeks and 29 centimeters, with a heartbeat (resting) of 133 and then the baby moved and it jumped to 142! The baby was head down, but not necessarily ready to stay that way. There seems to be a hand right behind my belly button right now. I am getting excited to meet another little person.

The rest of my little family is fighting colds, so I should get some sleep before I get sick too.
