Elyse turns 4!!!

Wow! Elyse turned 4 on Saturday. She took her daddy to the Canton library to show him around there (we have been there a lot, but Ron hadn't and Elyse wanted to show him). We made our own pizza and had cupcakes too. My mom and brother Joe were here for the weekend. On Sunday, we took cupcakes and a Tinkerbell themed party to Ron's dad who was in the hospital recovering from hip surgery. I think Elyse enjoyed her birthday weekend with all of her grandparents to celebrate with her! Of course, there are plenty of new toys in our house! Isaac got in on the action a bit too... We are still trying to get outside whenever we can, though it is finally getting cooler. The kids just wear their mittens to play on the swings! The kids and I took a quick trip to Missouri last week to see Grandma Bessie - she was quite ill and weak in the hospital, but seems to be getting stronger now. We had a cousin to play with who is just a little older than Isaac, and Grandma enjoyed seeing the kids play together. Now, we are looking ahead to Thanksgiving and our first major road trip since moving to Canton. It will take 8 or 9 hours to get to my mom's in Maine, so we will have to dig out all those car traveling gimmicks again!
